<p> We all start the new year with lots of resolutions. How many of you have set yourself new goals? But how many of you are going to achieve them?   Most of us make too many resolutions and sometime very unrealistic ones hence we are never able to follow up on them. By setting realistic goals and having a coach you are 90% more likely to achieve your results !</p>
<div>It is very important to feel confident in your own abilities to achieve things. If you do not have confidence in yourself, it becomes very difficult to keep up with your set resolutions and actions.  You will start to expect failure, and the more you expect failure, the more likely you are to fail.</div>

<p>Here are ten tips you can use to help feel better about yourself and achieve your goals:</p>
<ol>
<li>Set Realistic Goals – The more you achieve your goals the better you’ll feel about future goals. Ensure your goals are attainable, clear and measurable.</li>
<li>Be Positive – The power of positive thinking challenges your negative thought patterns and helps you achieve your goals in life. Also surround yourself with positive people as this will affect how you feel about yourself.</li>
<li>Exercise – Serotonin is a hormone that controls our moods and is produced when we exercise. Remember anything you do that causes you to breathe more deeply than you normally would and/or causes your heart rate to speed up is exercise. Think of any enjoyable ways to get your heart pumping and breathe more deeply.  </li>
<li>Watch what you eat – Having the right food can make you body strong, mentally and physically. When your body gets what it needs from the foods you eat, you will notice you have more energy, your hormones are balanced keeping you in a cheerful mood. Eat your food consciously.</li>
<li>Meditation – This means awareness. Whatever you do with awareness is meditation. &#8220;Watching your breath&#8221; to listening to the birds is meditation. As long as these activities are free from any other distraction to the mind, it is effective meditation. Meditation improves your health and concentration.</li>
<li>Try Again – When you struggle at something try again anyway. Allowing yourself to fail will only reinforce your beliefs be positive.</li>
<li>Find Hobbies – When you do things you enjoy, you take your mind off the things that bring you down and keep them focus on something that makes you productive.</li>
<li>Be Nice to People – When you are nicer to people, people will be nicer to you. It sounds unusual, but it is very effective.</li>
<li>Feel good about yourself – Accepting yourself is very important, this does not mean that you do not want to improve it just means you are thinking positively and not negatively about yours self. Dressing nicely &amp; and looking after your appearance makes you feel better about yourself. Relieving the doubt you have about your appearance helps relieve doubts about other aspects of your life as well.</li>
<li>Smile – Smiles are contagious, and smiles help you feel good about yourself. But sometimes you need to be the first to smile in order to get others to follow.</li>
</ol>

<p style="text-align: left;">To achieve what you want in life, you need to feel you are good enough to do so. Feeling good about yourself is a self fulfilling prophecy, so the more you can do to help feel good about yourself, the more likely events will occur that help improve your outlook.  </p>
